Description
This album may be difficult to listen to at first. But each piece is fugal, with a canonic overlay of melodies which are played with similar finger positions on both Mandolin and Cello, knitting fuzzy gloves of transposition. This suite of fugally canonic pieces is, in general, played horribly on this recording, so hopefully we’ll get a better version at some point in the future. But the cello is currently far, far, far away.
